For each sandwich:
1/8 lb. Rose Bavarian or Pit Ham sliced
1/8 lb Rose Boneless Turkey sliced
3 slices Swiss cheese
2 slices good firm bread
1 Egg
2 Tbls Buttermilk or Half & Half
Salt & Pepper
1 Drop Vanilla Extract
1 Tbls Butter or Non Stick spray for pan
Powdered Sugar for garnish
Raspberry Preserves
Prepare sandwiches:
On one slice of bread lay a slice of cheese, the ham, another slice cheese, the turkey and the last slice of cheese. Top with other slice of bread.
In a wide flat bowl or pie plate, mix the egg, milk, vanilla, and a dash of salt and pepper.
Preheat a frying pan or griddle surface with the butter or non stick spray over medium heat. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture and quickly place into pan. Cook till egg is set and turn to cook other side. Place on a warm plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve preserves on the side.
